The Blue Emperor Tetra (Inpaichthys kerri) is a stunning fish with a metallic blue body and contrasting dark fins. Native to the slow-moving streams of the Amazon basin, it grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) and thrives in well-planted community aquariums. Ideal conditions include:
- Temperature: 72° - 82° F (22° - 28° C)
- pH: 5.5 - 7.5
- KH: 3 - 8 dKH
- Minimum tank size: 15 gallons
